Well done Su! I would have also said something to the thickos! Except I would have probably poured their dinner on their head!

The food looks really nice. I have always been a bit wary to dine here as I like my chinese pretty plain and "normal". The usual egg fried rice, plain chow mein, veggie spring rolls, you get the picture.
We did try the Lotus Blossom Cafe once but found it quite bland, it wasn't horrible just not much flavour.

I would be interested to see if it turns into a buffet. I would be more inclined to try it if I could try a bit of this and that.

I'm glad to hear you all think I did the right thing by saying something. Paul hates confrontation and cringes sometimes when I start - but I can't help myself

Still haven't heard anything more about the changes, but I think I'd quite like it if it does turn out to be a buffet. Probably turn out to be just wishful thinking on my part.

We found the food at Lotus Blossom very bland too. I wish they hadn't changed the menu - we loved the veggie lo mein they used to serve and really miss it.
