Completely wrong Bob!

I quite fancy the wine room too. Be interesting to see how you like it.

It's always been nice and quiet when we've been seated up at that back bit.

I want to try the Short Ribs next time and I wish we'd had the cheese... could have had that with our wine. I've got to go back!

Oooh you have pics? Are you doing a report Judy?

I hope to start doing a report soon, I've only just uploaded my pictures onto the computer. I need to start it when I have a bit of time off from work, this week has been a bit manic since we got back. I almost feel like I need another holiday, so maybe reliving our recent one will be the next best thing

Jiko does look good, we will wait till the kids are a little older and book them into Simba's Club House for a couple of hours, then have a meal there, in the meantime will continue to enjoy Boma

Fab report Su, as always!

My DH seems keen to try Jiko, more keen than myself I must say. I am coming round to the idea but I am just not too good with spicy things.
But I am sure he would love that steak and the soup sounds really tasty.

I think I will watch the Jiko menu carefully before Aug 09 and decide then.

Oh and I had to laugh at that pic of Paul. He looks like he has had a fair bit of wine! LOL!

Another fantastic report Su.

Note to self - do not read food reports before breakfast, as they make you hungry

Great report Su, we had such a bad experience here ! but yours looks totally the opposite. Our server was awful - he just vanished, everyone eating was wondering where he went, we ended up with a new server for some reason. We both picked the wrong starters. I had the same main as you and it was horribly overcooked, I asked medium well done and they brought it out dark brown all the way through - it was chewy !

I'm thinking we should give it another chance maybe on another trip - your report makes me think we should!

LOL Ben Have you been having a hungry day today?

I was sorry to read in your report that you had a bad time at Jiko. I was so hoping you'd love it. Can you remember the name of your server by any chance?

We didn't eat there this time - we popped in to check out the menu and it's changed again since we were there last and Paul didn't fancy the veggie entree at all.

I really missed eating at Jiko and it's on my list for next time - although I'm really looking forward to the seeing what the new restaurant at Kidani Village is going to be like when it opens in May.
