A Scotch pie in a buttered morning roll. Haggis neeps and tatties or stovies.
Bladenoch malt whisky and McEwans IPA, NOT A RUSTY NAIL.

Nah, it's got to be a scotch pie that's been carefully prepared ie sitting under a hot plate for 8 hours, washed down with a quarter bottle of buckie, and for that authentic touch some cast member dressed as a Ned will nick the whees of your bairns pram!

Could not disagree more - pure Nectar - for those who don't know what a Rusty Nail is - one measure malt whisky, and one measure Drambuie (or Glayva) - nothing like that warm feeling as it goes down your throat - especially on a cold day! Also a crabbies ginger beer or a ginger grouse would go down a treat!
Great suggestions, but most of our food is there to be eaten on a cold winters day - not a sunny Florida day - wish they had chosen a bit more of our glorious seafood. Scallops on Stornoway Black Pudding Scottish langoustine (prawns) Deep Fried Haddock (I agree with Robson Green - the finest fish in the world) Fresh salmon - not smoked Arbroath Smokie or Kipper Desert - a nice raspberry desert - with cream - my wife makes it and I love it. Scotch Broth - pure nectar Mince N Tatties but last 2 not really what you need in warm sunshine! Edited to add - if they showcased great Scottish inventors it would be fantastic to show what oor wee nation has brought to mankind Alexander Graham Bell - Telephone John Logie Baird - TV The list is endless, see Wikipedia here, Tarmacadam roads, bicycle, radar, first oil refinery, penicillin, hypodermic syringe and more and more for a wee nation we certainly used to punch above our weight!
