This is another favourite of ours, when it comes to counter service food at WDW.
I usually have the Grilled Salmon with Rice and Veggies. It was particularly good today!
The large piece of juicy, fresh salmon was better than I’ve had at some restaurants!
The veggies were broccoli and carrots this time, but often they serve green beans. Either option has always been served both warm and flavoursome.

Paul had a bit of a shock when he received his lunch, as the Vegetable Sandwich has changed from Grilled Veggies on Foccaccia bread to a sort of Greek Salad in Pita. You know the kind of ingredients – tomato, cucumber, feta, peppers and I’m pretty sure there was some fresh spinach in there too.
He wasn’t too happy at first, as there was nothing on the menu to indicate that it had completely changed, when he placed his order.
However, he remarked that both the salad filling and the bread were very fresh, and it actually made a nice change.
Especially as his Grilled Veggie Sandwich had a soggy bottom last time!
Paul also got a Bud (DDE discount inc) and I popped over to the nearby Dawa Bar to get some Chardonnay (DDE discount not inc)
As usual, a nice relaxing lunch at Animal Kingdom!

I love the look of that salmon... but the veggie option looks nice too... I thnk we will have to try both

I must have missed these the first time round. I'm going to be trying the salmon at Tusker House this trip before they close down
