Phil really loved the Intrepid - we were there for quite a long time and as it was April it was FREEZING!

The wind blowing across the top deck ...

He managed to 'switch' on to how the grid system worked and the subway so I just followed him in the end, despite me having been twice before!

It is interesting - we had the opposite , it was too hot to be standing about !

I thought the subway ( and metro in DC) were relatively easy , it was the express and local trains that caught me out. Living in a city that works of the grid system does help too !
