Somerset
I’ve booked to go to Somerset for a week from 16 April and wondering what there is to do. I asked on Facebook and a lot of the answers like wookyhole are still closed so I thought I’d ask the Dibb especially after the Northumbria suggestions last year worked so well.
Just 2 adults in an EV but we have a cottage with a charge point so have quite a range. I can’t believe how much I am looking forward to this holiday. Thanks all |

Whereabouts in Somerset?
Noah’s Ark farm - North Somerset Cheddar Gorge could still be closed - they made all their staff redundant and don’t keep their social media up to date. IF it’s open, it’s worth going. Glastonbury Tor Bath (it’s not as far as it sounds, same council as North East Somerset) Tyntesfield - National Trust in North Somerset Quantocks

Depending on where you are staying in Somerset, Dunster is a medieval village and lovely place to visit. The castle and its grounds are lovely to look round.

Wells is a nice day out too. Have a walk around the cathedral and the Bishops Palace. (Its where Hot Fuzz was filmed if thats your sort of film). Cheddar to walk and drive through the Gorge is nice and cheese tasting. Weston is nice enough and 10 minutes from Winscombe. Cider tasting at Thatchers is also good if they are doing their tours. Or a meal in the Railway pub in Sandford.
