The Disney Lunch Club Rerun: Motivational Edition - Dec 2019 - Day 3

The Disney Lunch Club Rerun: Motivational Edition

Day 3 – Wednesday 4th December

We were planning a slightly more leisurely get up – we were being picked up at 9.15am, as when we planned this day, Vineland Premium Outlets were listed as being open from 10am. When we got there, we noticed lots of the shops were open. Having discussed a ‘do we queue or not queue’ for the Character Warehouse strategy, despite me needing to empty my bladder of my two morning coffees, we skipped our way into the store and picked up some goodies.

I got an Imagination Pink Spirit Jersey for me and one for my sister too. They did have the Hocus Pocus ones but I am not much of a fan, so was restrained and left it behind. I also got a couple of Christmas decorations and a Tinkerbell outfit for our niece. I saw an Americana patterned dress that I had almost paid full price for in June, but they only had it up to a medium and being honest – probably needed an extra large as it had an elastic waistband! The queue to pay wasn’t too long either so we did that, then spilt up with Sean& Tammy to have a mooch.

I’ll summarise our shopping as a new pair of trainers each from Skechers, three pairs of Levis for Dave (birthday pressie from me), and lots of goodies for various relatives from Vera Bradley for Christmas. They were giving out Christmas bags rather than paper bags in Vera Bradley, and the nice sales lady gave me an extra one for my Mum as I said how much my Mum loves Vera Bradley. We picked up some shirts for our Dads in Aeropostale, and a t shirt for Dave’s brother in Superdry.

Once all shopped out, we headed back to Coronado Springs to get some lunch. I had a hummus pack, and the other three had a salad. We decided to head to Disney Springs for a bit more shopping, and a mooch round the Christmas Tree Trail.

We managed to pick up the Mickey and Christmas Tree Popcorn Bucket here as a present for BigShaz and family, as we knew she really wanted it.

After a good old mooch around, a Starbucks and trying to track down the Mickey cutlery set we have as Sean & Tammy wanted one, we decided to head to Chili’s for dinner. There was one not too far from Disney Springs so Sean took us there.

It was our first experience of Chilis and we liked it! My ribs were amazing – as were the fries and onions. Service was good too – and for the price we couldn’t really complain.

As if we hadn’t shopped enough today, we headed to Walmart to pick up a few bits and pieces, before heading back to our resort for bed.

Tomorrow – Magic Kingdom, Resort hopping and more shopping!

Shopping is one of of favourite things about Florida! A day away from the parks is refreshing sometimes.

It was brilliant - both the shopping and the trees!

I do love a wander around the outlets. The Disney Warehouse can be vicious mind, at least you escaped unscathed.

The Christmas tree trail at Disney springs looks lovely, something else we didn’t get round to doing in our Christmas trip.
