* The Baillie Family PRE-TRIPPIE 3 * May 2022
❤ 1. - Park Booking Planning SOOOO... we are booked! Well the Disney hotel/tickets part is anyway! I thought I would start my Pre-trippie now to keep all the planning in 1 place! A few of you may remember me? Our first family Disneyworld trip happened in November 2014 when Callum was 6 and I was pregnant with Paige. (The reveal went a bit facebook viral ) Our 2nd Disneyworld trip was in April 2016 for Paige's 1st Birthday. ...and now our 3rd will be in 2022! (Hoping to re-create the photo again) It's been 5 years since we have been to Florida now, that's crazy! We did have it booked for 2017, but my husband's job ruined that one so we changed it for a Disney Cruise instead! We have done DLP for the past few years too because we lived in Germany and it was so easy to jump in the car and drive with 50% off park tickets on the door then COVID! We are so ready for a Disneyworld trip again! Anyway for those of you who don't know us, I will introduce us! This is our family! Introductions Me I'm Sarah aka mummy, now 33 years old! I'm the planner, the organised one, who usually takes far too many pictures of everybody else and never really has too many of herself! I had to really search for the ones in this trippie! I love baking, sewing and singing too. Michael Michael aka daddy! He's an engineer in the army and will soon be serving away in Kenya for 6 months! It absolutely sucks when he's away but we do earn that extra money for Disney! He's the goofy one, the fun one and the one who seems to lose everything on the trips! Callum Our to be 13 (turning 14 years old on the trip) not so little man! He's such a sweet and lovely boy and I'm so,so proud of him! The first trip we kept the whole thing a massive secret and his reveal video was so lovely! It was shared by thousands of people and people in Magic Kingdom even recognised us and came and said hello! We are hoping to keep this trip a secret too, and with him being at boarding school for a lot of it, fingers crossed we can! Paige Our to be 7 year old little diva! She's been really lucky that by the time she reached 3 years old, she had done Disneyworld, a Disney cruise and DLP so rightly she is going to be so excited when we go back! Her first ever haircut was in Magic Kingdom and I haven't let anyone touch it since, her 2nd one will be there too! What we have booked! So far we have booked 2 weeks at Pop Century from the 9th May - 23rd May. We wanted a resort with the skyliner as we have decided that we aren't going to get a car this time around. With the Disney parking costs and the actual costs of the car, it's looking like quite a hefty price than usual! We also haven't stayed here before and it looks great for kids. Has anybody else stayed there? What were your thoughts? We have Disney's 14 day unlimited tickets! Praying for fastpass to come back! No dining plan so far obviously! I spoke to Disney and if free dining is released, we will be able to change our booking for only the cost of the upgraded hotel, or potentially pay to add it on if that becomes an option. We are big dining plan fans! We love to eat! We also love the ease of no budgeting and ordering whatever we like! We are waiting out to book flights. We are potentially going to book 3 weeks. 2 weeks at Disney and 1 week at Universal. All dependant on flight costs and how much I can save my butt off for a year! I'm hopeful! Any tips for this would be much appreciated! We realised that every other time that we have done Disney and Universal, we have wasted so much money! Doing it in the middle of a trip and only going for 2 days with a 14 day ticket! Paying for a Disney hotel and a Universal hotel at the same time! Because I'm doing it all DIY, I can play around with dates/ hotels! Wish me luck! LET THE PLANNING COMMENCE!

How fantastic. I loved Pop and we went December 2019. It has easy access to AOA for a change of food. The skyliner was great.

It’s nice to see you back and posting.
I remember your reveal video, Callum was just so lovely and polite. Paige is such a cutie. Looking forward to following along with your trippie X

Aw amazing!
We stayed at Art of Animation in 2016 and it was lovely food then! 😋. We haven't been on the Skyliner yet obviously but I'm very much looking forward to it! |

I don't think we'll be staying onsite this time as it's too much for us as a family of 5 without free dining and fastpass, so we're waiting for the flights to be released then we'll book accommodation (thinking a villa) around those If fastpass returns I'd consider a short onsite stay to take advantage and get the really popular rides in!

We sat down and have been planning our park days! Booking is still very much open at the moment, obviously we have a LONG wait and I'm actually hoping they get rid of the booking system so we can do more than one park in a day! 🤞🏻. But for now I think we have a sort of plan! Apart from Magic Kingdom first and last day at Disney, I haven't booked any park days yet. After we have a finalised plan, which will be pretty soon, I will do though! 😊 |
