It's a week stay 👍
Absolutely loved Windermere and the fact poppy was welcome everywhere even at breakfast and in the hotel was wonderful!

We are off to a place called Otter Falls in Devon at the end of June. We were booked for last year and they agreed just to move the booking to the same dates for this. Can’t wait!

"Ourgate" for us.
We looked at cottages etc and decided that with the cost and me probably saying "it smells damp, it's not like in the photos" etc, we're treating our home as a holiday home. Planning days out in the Cotswolds, Windsor area, over to the east coast. No cooking or cleaning, either eating out or takeaway. If it rains we stay home and plan for another day.
Hopefully towards the end of the year we'll get to Florida's Gulf Coast.
Happy planning everyone.

Last year we spent a few days in Stratford upon Avon, using it as a base to visit the Cotswolds and the surrounding area, it was lovely.
We really don’t know where to go this year, it was going to be one of the staycation cruises but we changed our mind on that.
Cornwall is a big favourite of ours, but I quite fancy somewhere on the south coast, I hear Torquay is nice.

We are having 3 nights in Caister near Great Yarmouth in April and then we have a week in Cornwall in May. If you aren't tied to school holidays you can get a reasonable price. Our week in Cornwall is £299 for the 3 of us in a caravan. The site gets excellent reviews 👍 If we went a week later(Whitsun week) it was nearly £1400! 😱
We also have a few days at Alton Towers in August.
So if our Crete holiday in July and our cruise in October go pear shaped, at least we still have a few breaks away.

Hoping for week in Scotland in July, fingers crossed we can go. Booking hotels and b&bs that can be cancelled, flexi fare on the ferry and packing lots of insect repellant for the midges!
