It’s hard to keep costs down and not let your trip grow arms and legs. I’m terrible for that. Maybe just stick with Disney, a one day to universal is not going give you the best experience. At a push a night at an Express Pass hotel and 2 days in the park - that would be big arms and legs in terms of cost or experience the LA one first.
😂Ds would be the same as your add, totally oblivious to surroundings! I totally agree with your last paragraph, special celebrations, making up for lost covid trips and a grumpy 13 year old who will not want to be going away with us forever. I’ll be keen to hear what you eventually decide on.

Mine is similar. I find if I drag him out for a walk I get a decent response 😂
I’m happy to chat holiday planning with you anytime.

How is your little dog?
Are you planning a July 2022 visit as well as your Mardi Gras trip? We have shuffled our planned late August into September trip this year to July 2022. Seems ages away and I have to say if it’s still face masks I’m not keen on a July visit. I’m not great in the heat. |

Aww she is great, thanks for asking. It feels like she has been with us for ever now and she seems pretty happy with us and her new surroundings. Mil adores her so she gets loads of attention from her too.
Yes I’d really like to do both. Hopeful that flight prices are not too mental. It would be great if everything is back to normal by then. I’m not sure what the story will be with masks, it feels like we may have them a lot longer than Florida. Have you transferred a booking over? Is the whole trip planned or are you still tinkering. I can’t decide if I’d like to fit Disney in because it’s the 50th or avoid it for that same reason 😂

She is a beauty 😍 glad all is ok with her.
We only had a Villa booked for 17 nights and have transferred that over to July 22. We have a few points with Virgin via their credit card so are hoping to look at flights in the Autumn. We are aiming to do both Disney and Universal. Our eldest DS is aiming for University entry in Autumn 2022 so we won’t be back for a while as we will be helping with his maintenance grant and all that goes with that. Just been sorting out driving lessons for him, it seems such a short time ago that I had finished work and was waiting for him to arrive! |

Thanks.
Hopefully when flights come out we will both get reasonable deals. July 22 sounds like ages away, I’m sure I’ve missed a year somewhere 😂 Time goes so fast, it’s bad enough that Ds will be 14 this summer and I’m thinking we might have have too many family trips ahead. It will be an extra special trip for you all so quite right doing Disney and Universal.

I’m glad you made up for your hunger with 2 breakfasts! Another action packed day. Your appetisers at NBC looked great, it’s in such a great location.
We went to breadbox on our Summer trip, unfortunately I didn’t eat any as I was trying to keep my lunch and breakfast down after rising the Simpsons ride I will have to try again as yours look delicious. Thankfully you went to bed full! Also, so good to see your little dog has settled in so well - what a cutie! |
