Wow ... Your pictures brought back so many memories. I first went with my parents aged 8 in 1979! Remember grandfather driving us down to Heathrow to get a flight on PAN-AM to Miami, as that was only way to get there. I thought Magic Kingdom was most wonderful place ever been to, never seen anything like Wet and Wild before either. I even have memories of the old Disney water Park called River Country which had weird tasting water! Going back there this year with my parents and my children!

Very similar experience then! My first two journeys were via Boston, third one was BA LHR - Philly - MCO and last one was indeed PanAm LHR to Miami then internal 727 flight. I don't remember the River Country water tasting odd but do remember there being a continuous current as it flowed out into Seven Seas Lagoon!

Sad to see that WetnWild seems to be off most people's itineraries these days. My wife hates watersides so it was as much as I could do to get her to Typhoon Lagoon otherwise I'd have given it another go.

Sort of! She definitely liked it in parts. There was some stuff I thought she would think was great which she was non-plussed by and other bits where it was the reverse. Epcot and MK were her favourites I think.
