So if I were to say, hypothetically, have a couple of weeks and some cash spare...

What kind of deal do we think I can get to go to Florida (1ad + 1ch)

I’d like to stay onsite so we are self contained and I don’t have to worry about anything.

We’ve been already this year as a family so this will literally be a cheaply last minute just the 2 of us

I’ve seen ASM for £2800 but would ideally like a moderate (pref PO for location reasons) but I’m thinking as long as we are in the bubble it’ll be fine and I won’t need a car etc

I’m not bothered about dining plan as I think the cost vs us spending out of pocket on what we actually want will be negligible

Is this a terrible, never going to happen plan

I don’t really have a budget but have circa £4K in mind inc park tickets (only Disney)

Thoughts suggestions and bargains spotted?

Will fly from anywhere but ooop north is better, can go anytime from the end of July onwards

You say July onwards, so is it just school holidays?

Yup unfortunately but I can fly at the drop of a hat so hoping for something last minute to save a little.

As I said, I haven’t a strict budget in mind so if it costs more then it costs more...but hoping to do it for less than as a family at Easter...

It depends on how flexible you are, at the end of July last year tui were doing some really great deals for the end of August.

Fab thanks I’ll have a look

I’ve also looked at renting DVC points and that looks like a good option too.

Anyone experience of an AKL studio?

Hi Choccielover, we have just done the same and although we ended up booking seperately flights with Virgin and then Disney/Universal directly(only booked our disneystay at POR an hour ago!), some cracking package deals with TC at the moment (better than the TUI ones and ive been tracking these for last 3wks), so ASS would be £2200 for 10 nights, 11/14 nights at POFQ around £3200-£3500! for 1A 1C

no tickets but - ATD are matching disney, so $389 for ultimate atm and give $20 gift card per ticket

edited - 14n at All star sports is around £2500 departing 24/7 from Manchester

Edited at 02:45 PM.

If you are looking at renting dvc points I think you be looking at SS or OKW studio. I doubt if you would get enough consecutive days available at AKL or kidani at this late stage.
Love POFQ great resort.

If you decide to rent points so close to arrival date, David's may have availability at reduced price. You could potentially pay as little as $10(ish) per point from someone needing to rent out expiring points.
