Airport hotel rooms for 5?
Hi I’m looking to book flights for August 2020 and happy to look at all airport options however I’m looking for recommendations for airport hotels rooms that sleep 5!
DH always opts to drive due to the cost of two hotel rooms but I’m more paranoid about missing the flight nowadays and would rather stay somewhere if we could find a suitable hotel room for us all! Any suggestions? |

If you book early enough you can usually book a Premier Inn for £29 and it would be cheap enough to get the 2 rooms. Much easier than 5 of you trying to use the bathroom in the morning.

We book 2 x Premier inn rooms too and if you call the hotel, you can find out if they have interconnecting rooms. I've stayed at the Hilton at Gatwick in a family room but it was more expensive than 2 Premier Inn rooms.

Hehe forgot to say that it’s MCO flights that I’m looking for and open to any airports that do direct flights ideally 😊

If you are doing Gatwick the Premier Inn North is just steps away from the terminal. From Manchester there are several Premier inns just a few minutes away from the airport. If you are looking for affordability then you can’t really beat them and you get free breakfast for children under 16.

We also get 2 rooms at the premier inn. I think we’ve paid £35 a room for this year.

We are a 5 and have the same dilemma again for next year.
Last year we had a family room at the Hilton Gatwick which was nice enough. I will only do it again next year if we can treble up our Tesco club card vouchers with hotels.com. Otherwise we may look at a cheaper off airport option.

We are a family of five and have to book two rooms. Upside is the two bathrooms for the morning rush and no rush hour traffic.

Theres a few B&Bs/Guesthouses around Gatwick that have family rooms and do parking, breakfast and transfers too.
Can't remember the name of but have used some in the past and never had a problem with any of them. |
