we loved November, it was so quiet even though it was a little cold. The main reason we picked it was for the autumn foliage which was spectactular!

We are going for the first time this year and im doing diy . im so exited but slightly nervous . We did Hong Kong last year and it was fantastic.

Another vote for November - the fall foliage season is amazing, especially in Kyoto.

We’ve decided on November 2018 too.

We’ve been reading trip reports, watching YouTube videos and reading loads on the internet for info.

It seemed overwhelming to start with but now we have a much better idea of what and where we want to go.

Our new favourite picture is the Tokyo subway map! We feel a lot more confident after studying it and reading up on different stations and locations.

It’s like planning and learning about an alien planet!

I did an organised coach trip around Japan a few years ago and loved it. I could have stayed on in Tokyo at the end and gone to Disney but didn’t really have the time.

Japan is so interesting and I had no issues with the language and local customs.
