The Bare Necessities Summer 2019

Great update. So funny the difference between the men and the women. I made both my kids try on their entire wardrobes last week so I could bag up anything they have grown out of ... so easy to leave stuff in their wardrobes thinking it fits when it doesn't.

Funny update with the packing. Do you really manage to only take 2 cases between the 4 of you?
I over pack and force ds to try everything on well in advance, not sure I’ll get away with that for much longer. Dh then rocks up with a pile of t-shirts and a glazed look when I mention signature dining...

Yes 2 cases only, both are less than 20 kg. And at the mo just 2 carry on bags. I still think we've got too much stuff, I've got 5 pairs of shoes...2 trainers, 2 sandals and some flip flops!

I keep thinking 'This post will be the last here' but then of course there is always more to say!

At the Hotel Copthorne Effingham thinking about getting ready for bed. It's a lovely hotel, a bit run down...but not too bad. We got upgraded from a family room to 2 interconnecting rooms, except the rooms connected to the wrong side and not to each other! So back down to reception and there aren't any that are free for us so we now have Max and me in one room and Dave and Kate in the other. So, we have next door rooms, it's fine.

Both rooms have a double and a single bed, So no sharing tonight.

Flying out Tomorrow. Woo hoo xx

Aw, bless your dad getting involved with the long made plans at the last minute. At least he read the book 👍🏻.

Yep you couldn't make it up could you? This is a photo of the door that connects to the wrong room on the other side of us, it's just a shame Dave and Kate are not in that room as it would have been perfect!
