Mobile Disney Springs check in, oversized items

Hi all, over here now with our 9 month old and considering Disney Springs check in but we have a car seat with isofix and pushchair to check in which we’ll need in the airport. Does anyone know whether we’ll just be given the tags for these items so we can drop off the car seat in the oversize baggage bit in the airport and hold on to pushchair until the plane? Checking in early is very appealing but we’ll need to keep the car seat to drive to the airport!

Hi. No experience personally as my kids are in their 30's!

However I have read on here a lot that you don't bother with getting the luggage tags for the seat at Disney Springs but you obtain it from bag drop at the airport.

We checked in at Disney Springs and then dropped off the car seats at the airport and kept the pushchair until we were at the gate in February.

That's amazing thanks for that. Last time we checked the car seat in at Disney springs and rented one from Alamo for the day 🤦.
Thanks so much! That's so handy!

Do you have to drop all your cases off? Just thinking about doing last minute shopping on the final day and it would be good to have one case with us

All our cases was a bit over this time... the Virgin lady said she will let up to 24kg go and just put a heavy tag on it. if it’s well over, you have to pay, and it’s quite expensive per kilo... it may be cheaper to check an extra case in.

Bags usually only get tagged as ‘heavy’ once they are at 25kg & over.
