Saturday night car show, where is it?!

Once again, apologies for being thick

I've got this in my trusty Planning Book as something that's recommended for a fun thing to do on a weekend.

I've also got 'Celebration', 'Old Town' and 'Kissimmee' written down next to it. So, lovely Dibbers, where exactly do we head to see this wondrous car festival?! And is it definitely on a Saturday please? I've also got Friday Night written in my book. Note to self, must make better notes

I'm trying to sort my days out, and book a couple of restaurants, and have a few gaps that need tidying up!

TIA x

It is Friday and Saturday night, you need to be on the 192 which is the main road through Kissimmee look out for the big Ferris wheel, there is free parking all around the area. The fun fair rides have grown and expanded, we like to sit and watch rather than participate, the cars are all out on show and the owners love to talk about them before the parade starts. There are a few quirky shops and places to eat and drink, there is also live music and usually line dancing to watch or join in. It makes a lovely change from the main theme parks.

As above... Old Town Kissimmee on the 192.
Friday and Saturday night. Live music both nights. Cruise leaves Old Town around 8:00pm if I recall. One night is muscle cars the other is classics.
Both good nights. We normally try and do both nights on different weeks.
Enjoy !

There's also a completely separate car show in the city of Celebration. Only annually though and long before you go

We went on Friday night, that was mainly muscle cars. We parked, walked through all the cars (parked up) then later watched them drive down the Main Street in old town. O. A Saturday it is meant to be more classic cars.

The Ace Café in downtown Orlando has regular themed car nights. Good food too.

This is what I kept finding when I Googled!

Thanks everyone, I’m glad I’m not completely losing the plot by having both days written in my book! It can stay in the itinerary for Saturday

Celebration is worth a visit anyway if only for a stroll round and a Kilwins ice cream whilst sitting in the rocking chairs overlooking the lake.

Even better at Christmas but too late for your next trip.

We had a lovely evening here. We then ended up going back the next day to Fun Spot America as some of the rides there were far better than those in the parks, if you’re a thrill seeker! The good thing also was that non riders didn’t have to pay to enter, so I was free to walk around being the bag and phone carrier, while the others done crazy rides, including that drop swing 😲 I couldn’t even watch! Walking around the town is also nice, lots of quirky little shops.
