Hoi An was a little too hot for us, we coped well in Ho Chi Minh but the few extra degrees and higher humidity in Hoi An had us struggling.

We pushed ourselves this day though, and really enjoyed seeing everything. It’s a good job bottles of water were just pennies though as we certainly got through a lot of those 😂

We've got into a routine and the kids have been getting a fair amount of work set each day to do at home so that's helped really as they are able to feel productive and also get some downtime in the afternoons and evenings. Still we're only 2 weeks in so how we will be coping in another 2 weeks or 2 months is a different matter. We are very lucky to live on the edge of a village so barely a 2 minute walk to a small woods in one direction and fields in the other. Our daily walks are lovely and we are grateful that we have the luxury of it on our doorstep.

I’m saying we are ok at the moment but I’m trying not to think of weeks and months ahead, it’s definitely going to get harder. We have a huge garden with woodlands and a river running through so we are very lucky in that we can get outdoors safely and easily thankfully too.

At least we have no excuse not to finish our trip report now 😀
