Is this a good price?
We initially had our car hire booking included in our Virgin Holidays package, but after we booked & then compared the costs online we realised how expensive it was through them and cancelled the car hire element with the intention of booking it independently.
We don't fly out until 30th April 2021 & most of the hire companies only allow booking a year in advance, however we have found a few sites that we can book for April 2021, now. We have a quote from uscarehire for an Intermediate SUV with Gold insurance & additional driver, via Alamo, for £416.25 for the fortnight we're away. Does this seem like a decent price? I can do a dummy booking for April this year with the car hire companies direct but all seem a bit more expensive, but not sure the price is reflective of what next years would be? Thanks x Edited at 12:33 PM. |

I think you are there or thereabouts. Virgin Atlantic for your size SUV, 2 drivers and bring back full is £452 so it's in the ball park
Personally I would hold fire for 8 weeks and then do the usual trawl through the 12 well known 3rd party suppliers.

Edit. I have a Standard SUV for 30 days in May this year with Auto Europe for £664 so it shows it's worth hanging fire
