It’s Sod’s law I’m sure. Only ever bought two. In fact I’ve only been an adult since 2006(turn 18) and both these happen.

I have tried to convince hubby to do all the cooking for me like it’s a cruise but he told me I’d have to pay the same price. Since the quality will definitely be questionable I have decided to spend it all on takeaways instead

I haven't mananged to get them at my work all week (M & S) but found some in Lidl today. Just need to find some flour somewhere for the kids to be able to bake some cupcakes etc

My orangery build should have started last week , heaven knows when it will happen now. No Yorkshire puddings for weeks can’t find plain flour anywhere 😒

My son went into Co Op last week and there were no eggs out, he asked the lady and she gave him six from under the counter. Might be worth a try

Our easter & may half term mini breaks have been cancelled & I've ran out of bourbons. I've got gin but no tonic or lemonade so feel like it's in the cupboard mocking me. Not quite bad enough yet for me to consider shots.

I've spent 2 weeks in isolation with the kids who I love dearly but am really ready for some proper adult conversations. Video calling just isn't the same as a costa date. DH is only coming home to shower & eat before going back to work.

I had a secret night away for DH & I planned on Saturday & a fun day together Sunday which is so sad we won't be doing anymore. Haven't told him as it seems silly 2 of us being disappointed!

Job hunting has come to an abrupt stop & don't even think my dogs want walking anymore. Think they're as fed up as I am.

Plus side the kids don't realise how ≈≈≈≈≈≈ I'm feeling & they're being well behaved so could be worse

We had snow flurries in Orkney today, DH is still working away and can’t get home, didn’t win online quiz tonight and my TV seems to have lost signal 😢😢😢 😢

I get 40 minutes of peace & quiet a day - when I come home for lunch as I’m still working and it’s busy and stressful. My neighbours were in their front garden when I came home, we said hello so they know I’m there.

Sat down to eat lunch in the sunroom at the back of our house and they start simultaneously strimming and mowing their back garden! They have all day - why do it right now. Tried to watch a bit of greys anatomy but had to give up as I can’t hear the telly even though I’ve turned it up much higher than normal 😡

Of course I know there are much bigger problems but that I value that little bit of quiet time to recharge ready for the afternoon.
