You're as likely to go as I am to win the lottery, and I've never bought a lottery ticket.

I don't expect to use (or be able to use) my October flights.

We were going to a Disney wedding in May, that has been canceled and rearranged for October, but quite frankly I dont know if I want to change for October because I am not sure what Disney will look like then and if flights will be going or how much they will be.

I think you're all being a little naive. We are in the midst of a pandemic.

We are/were due to fly 13th June with Virgin. Booked flights, car, Universal, SeaWorld, Villa & universal hotel all separately.

Not cancelled or moved anything yet but know we are 90% not going. Villa is through a friend so all good. Car and hotel can be cancelled 48hrs before, tickets can be refunded but the flights... look like it’ll be 24hrs before that we have to wait to see if they are cancelled. 🤔 Annoying. Wish we could just move everything now.

I'm under no illusion it is highly unlikely we will be going in October, May I think is 100% no chance.
Even if we do bring it under some control in the next 4 - 6 weeks, there will have to be testing when you leave and arrive, at the moment we do not have enough to test the front line so flights are way down the order.
If we are lucky by June we may be able to travel within the uk on the basis of social distancing. European and International travel will i suspect be much further on, possibly even April next year.

On a side note thanks for everything you are doing in your job. You are amazing!
Thank you - it's pretty tough being a Paramedic in the middle of all this, but hoping to peak by Easter weekend so we can concentrate on moving forward as opposed to dreading the peak.

Hold on to hope I say, there isn't much more keeping the country turning at the moment. I only wish Virgin would be a bit more forthcoming with their flight cancellations!

I'm a frontline working too you'll find me somewhere between A&E and EAU high five to you and your colleagues in the thick of it too
We're supposed to fly 4th June I'm still holding out some hope Florida is a hot state and the virus doesn't do well in temperatures over 60° so we have that in our favour and hopefully we will be recovering from our peak by then
However Trump still might not let us in or FCO may still be advising not to travel in that case hopefully our flights will be cancelled and if the whole of the airline industry hasn't gone bust we'll hopefully get our money back
As you can see there's a lot of hope in my reply 😂
By June mind think you and I will be in dire need of a holiday
Stay safe 😊
