DVC Owners-2020 Cancellation Poll

In light of Disney's 'new' policy for cancellation of DVC members points

I'm trying to guage how many DVC Owners stand to lose 'borrowed' or 'unbanked' DVC points IF they don't go ahead with their summer holidays this year.

Please indicate if Borrowed only (from another Use Year) lost(& amount)

Banked only & amount

OR

Borrowed and Banked and amount for each

I may (with your permission) contact Disney 'en-masse' to indicate our disapproval of this new policy.

I will lose 255 points if I have to cancel in July.

We would lose 300 borrowed points overall on our October trip

477 borrowed from 2021 if we have to cancel our August trip.

Feb use year so there’s a chance we’d get to use them I guess if there’s last minute availability.

This poll is a bit premature as Disney hasn't changed their policy.. Until it says on the DVC website this is false news. See my post on the 'angry with DVC' thread for more iinfo

I’m not voting but I do have absolute sympathy for anyone impacted but the situation is fluid, a nightmare to work through and I think patience to give them a chance to work through various scenarios would be good.

We bought a secondhand Saratoga contract last year but had 390.170 banked we’re going to lose all the band points and I’m not sure will be able to bank this year is 220 points as Use year is June
