Just cancelled our Auto Europe car hire for April.

Sadly, we've cancelled this morning our Auto Europe car hire booking for April. Phoned up and the process was quick, easy and received a confirmation email of the cancellation within minutes, (see below). A full refund would take 10-15 business days to show up on our CC statement.

The rep said that about 90% of the calls they have recently received are cancellations and stated that if this last for a number of months then some of the smaller companies will not survive, which is so sad.

We're looking to go later in the year so will look to rebook as soon as possible.

Auto Europe would like to inform you that we have successfully cancelled your reservation.

The refund of the amount paid will be issued to the Credit/Debit card used at the time of booking. Please allow 10-15 business days for this to appear on your statement.

We wish that you and all your loved ones remain safe during this hard time, and should you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us via e-mail or call our team.

I cancelled our Thrifty booking on Thursday as the money would have come out on the 27th. I also cancelled the Heathrow carpark booking and got a refund pretty quickly.

And all my fastpasses yesterday. I noticed on MDE that my tickets are saying valid to 31.9.21. I thought I might of had to claim it somehow but it has done it automatically.

Good to hear it was easy. We have a booking with them for August...just holding out for now.

I cancelled on the 21st and the refund in full showed up this morning with a transaction date of 23rd so only taking 2-days and similar to other Dibbers.

Such a quick response, so well done to AutoEurope and will be looking to rebook with them as soon as possible.

I emailed them in the morning, had a reply an hour later, money in my account the next morning.

Not sure how that’s even possible but top work Autoeurope!

Would also like to say how good Auto Europe have been. Requested cancellation of our April booking on the 6/4 and the money is now back in our account today. Will definitely look to book with them again when we can.
