I feel the same, don’t plan on taking my phone out with me at all. Each to their own

We're here now. HS seems pretty static but I've been picking up headline FPs through the day in the other parks. For example in FP queue for TT in Epcot yesterday, got another TT (it was our 3rd). Second TT queue, got one for Soarin.

Genius! How am I only now finding out/realising that I can bring forward already booked ones!? I normally book all 3 for close together, use them all, and then start looking and booking more and more until we leave the park, but I never thought about modifying my original 3 from the start. Will definitely be trying this

I think its a good idea but in some ways i dont like the FP system. Its too much planning and strategy for an holiday! In an ideal world id want to get up in the morning and just pick a park that day! Thanks to ADR and FP its not that simple anymore!

We didn't know about this on our last trip in 2016, however, I read about it a few months ago on here so we will try it next month.

For us it's finding a perfect balance of rides, shows, people watching, eating, browsing the shops - and not necessarily all in the theme parks.. we are looking forward to some time at Celebration and our down time too.

Thanks for the information!

We love tap and grab. However I take a slightly different approach and use the first hour to 90 minutes utilising short lines and then move to FPP ideally booked at 10, 11 and 12. Start trying to move them forward as soon as the first one is used. However. That first hour remains golden if you are in first (we are often in the first 20 in the park, my DD likes to be first in and will get up and invest time waiting first thing), and on a good day that head start lasts 2 hours hence me starting our FPP for 10am. I’m happy to be on my phone a minute every half an hour to avoid the lines. The less time you queue the more time you have for smelling the roses, food and shows. There’s zero ambience standing in a hot sweaty mess of a queue! I agree this method probably works best of you know your way around the parks well and don’t mind quite a bit of walking. We aim for 10 miles a day to offset the fat food so don’t mind criss crossing the parks.
