The carrot cake is lush but I agree the large celebration cakes are sickly and synthetic!

Avoid the ones with ones with synthetic cream, it’s nasty. However the carrot cake is lovely. Cannot comment on red velvet because I don’t like it from anywhere

I would describe them as cheap and cheerful, and in fairness you can't expect quality ingredients when they cheap.

I'm not a cake person so I think the big cakes are lovely, as do all my family.

We need the dibbs well known cake eater to give an opinion, as she spends her days eating cake whilst her hubby works long hours to support her habit.

Sandra, where are you?

I won't but I know my colleagues will... I can actually brag and say I don't eat cakes or biscuits. LOL...my downfall are wine gums.

Thanks everyone for your comments. I think I'll get them the red velvet and the carrot cake.

Give the Costco salted caramel cheesecake a try and you won’t be disappointed!

Oh and I’m also an adult addicted to the sickly frosting on the celebration cakes

Can anyone tell me about the cheesecakes in the chiller, not the frozen ones ( I know they're delish and probably why I'm on statins! ) Are the chilled ones dense cheese cake or the light , mousse-y refrigerator type? Asking for a friend😉
