Easter Weekend
Hi
We are looking at a last minute break at easter weekend. So would be the good Friday to easter Monday. I know it will be busy but will it be so busy there is no point in going? Has anyone been at this time before do you get on any rides?! We don't have kids so can stay till late at night. Thanks |

I wouldn’t. All weekends are busy at DLP and so are public holidays.
If you don’t have children could you go during the week instead? Much cheaper for onsite stays, and much quieter.

No way would I go then!
I'm here now, arrived on Sunday. Sunday and yesterday were very very busy, it's supposed to be a quiet time to visit but with the AP soiree on Fri night then the start of Marvel Season it's much busier than usual.

Definitely not for us!
We did go last Easter but it was from Easter Monday & it was grand. By the Wednesday the crowds had gone so it was as a lovely week.

We’re visiting the Nature Village resort over the easter period. We were thinking of spending a day at DLP during this time but we’re not sure which day to chose. Will they all be as busy as each other?

We went last year Good Friday to Easter Monday (just the two of us no kids) and yes it was very busy but we used the extra hours, queued for fast passes for big thunder mountain and the like and had a really good time. The weather was also fab. If we can get a good price for a short break in the holidays crowd levels don't bother us. We felt like we did plenty of rides. We can't go in term time as I cant take DH out of school. However if you don't like it too busy then probably best to go midweek term time if you can. I however like the fact we don't need to take any annual leave for those dates and can squeeze an extra trip in. (we do have annual passes so that helps with the cost though)

I think we'll just have to chance it, we won't be there after Monday unfortunately.
