Thanks, back home now 🙁 timings didn’t work well for our flight timings to use the Express and ended up getting a taxi transfer which suited us all better.

Amazing thanks but very hot! Chose a smaller hotel with a huge pool and there were times that DD and DS were the only ones in it! Didn’t visit as many places as I would like but roasted in Pompeii and Positano and chilled out by the pool and in Sorrento itself. Was impressed how cheap but lovely the food was especially considering how shocking the Euro is at the moment.

I travel to Italy on Tuesday and have got a few days booked in a hotel a couple of minutes walk from the train station in Naples. We’ve read reports about the area being iffy and not to go out at night. It sounds like parts of London to be honest. I’m trying not to worry too much about it. Is it really hot there at the moment? I’m just deciding if I need any warm clothes at all. Sounds like you had a good time

We went in Feb and there is a bus that picks you up right outside Naples airport and drops you off in Sorrento town centre near the train station. I think it was about €10 pp and took 1h30 or thereabouts. Much more relaxed than the train!
If you need me to, I can dig out the name of the company that runs it. EDIT: just realised you've already been, ignore my post I hadn't realised your original thread was so old
