Clayton Hotel Manchester Airport

We will be staying one night at the Clayton and wondered if anyone could recommend where to have a late afternoon / evening meal nearby, We won't have a car as a friend is taking us to the hotel ready for our flight the following day

Joes Kitchen at Terminal 1 arrivals is where we usually go when staying over the night before. You can get the shuttle to it or walk takes less than 10 mins.

We stayed at the Clayton a few weeks ago. Dropped our luggage off at terminal 2 then walked around to Joes Kitchen where we had a nice meal. After our meal we called the Clayton on the freephone and the shuttle collected us within 5 minutes.

We walked to the airport pub which is next to the runway so you can watch planes landing. It has a lovely big beer garden and serves food. We plan to do this again in October when we go.
Walked from the airport to the pub in about 15 minutes.

As a local and a regular visitor to the airport, can recommend the airport pub too. Its a nice easy walk to it from The Clayton and you can do lots of aircraft viewing

We ate in the hotel and found it wasn�t overly expensive. As others have said, the airport pub is a walkable distance.
