We've stayed in three Airbnb's and so far so good. For the price we pay, we get a lot more space and home comforts.

I'll admit to mentally keeping my fingers crossed before we go in to each one (is the place as described on the app?) but otherwise I'm not seeing downsides to Airbnb. Definitely they way to go for us as a family of 5

There’s not many trip reports with Orpington as a destination

I’m hoping Paula was okay on the boat as she was dishing out choccies?!

Enjoying your report, thanks for posting!

Haha! I like to treat the family to the best locations! It's a lovely Airbnb and allows us a weekend in London before we head down to DLP next week.

Paula had a great time on the boating lake yesterday, in fact she said she'd do it again. I think the chocolates helped

My 2 teens always go with hubby - they set a steps challenge on their phones at the start of the break, so they have to walk where he walks in order for him not to win! (exercise by stealth... and I get peace to pack/unpack.)

Haha me & OH do that early morning car trek - had done 20,000 steps by about 9:30 in the morning last time

Like the idea of boating and handmade choccies.
