Thanks for that. Wonder what of anything Breathe will do with my current plf codes and lft?

We get back 23rd to Heathrow. Does anyone know of you can just rock up at the Halo testing place at T5?

Failing that we may divert to a randox gold site, get some Xmas day veg from the Morrisons and then get the results Xmas eve

You have to isolate until you get the PCR results

I'll be charging my EV at the services (so that I can get home) and I will be using the bogs too.

Us too or we wouldn't get home! Didn't think of this!

I read it somewhere that the test needs to be done on day 2 upon arrival.. the day you arrive is count as day 0. and must isolate until test result comes back negative!

We are currently in Orlando and due to fly to Vegas on the 3rd December for 5 nights, I was hoping we might be able to get a PCR in Heathrow with rapid results so we can go back to work- having been off 4 weeks I don't think either of our work places would be happy to have us off any longer, never mind the fact we will not get paid

I’ve just read the update on Gov.U.K. Am I correct in reading that upto 17 years old only need a PCR test before day 2 arrival, and don’t need to isolate? Pasted below from the website.

Travelling with children
Children aged 17 and under do not have to quarantine on arrival in England. This applies whether they are vaccinated or not.

Children aged 4 and under do not have to take any COVID-19 travel tests.

5 to 17 year olds:

do not have to take a COVID-19 test before travel to England
must take a test on arrival in England - before the end of day 2 at the latest (arrival day is day 0)
Until 4am 30 November, 5 to 17 year olds can choose a lateral flow test or a PCR test.

From 4am 30 November, 5 to 17 year olds must take a PCR test.

You should also check the rules in the country you are travelling from as they may require children to take a test at the start of your journey to England.

There are different rules for children who have been in a red list country or territory in the 10 days before they arrive in England.

This might’ve a silly question but now that we have to take a pcr test and isolate till we get the results, if we get a test done as soon as we arrive at the airport are we allowed to get a taxi home?
