What a long day .. and a bit mixed with the parking. Did you get your money back? A really stressful start and not what you need .

Some lovely food and drink there in the lounge and on the plane too. The seats look nice as well.

Brilliant that you sailed through arrivals ( and didn’t need the sneaky extra form!) and all good with your transfer. Room looks quite swanky !

I’d not spotted this before Abbey, looking forward to reading. Rome is on our list, and we nearly booked it just before the pandemic. I’m sure your trip report will tempt me 😀

The credit card company are on the case with getting the money back, so fingers crossed.

The seats on the plane do feel really spacious, having the spare seat with the tray table in the centre does help.

Rome is another of the European capitals I've been wanting to visit. It didn't disappoint! It was very similar to Athens, but then I suppose that isn't surprising.

Yes that was annoying. With such a late flight I couldn't justify an overnight airport stay on pre travel day. At least we had lots of spare time to sort out new parking, and I did get my money back.
