Our first European rollercoaster adventure - Day 5 Europa park

Day 5 - 16th November

I was really sad it was our last day here. I genuinely loved this park and although we’d ridden pretty much everything multiple times I still didn’t want to leave.

We had breakfast, checked out and headed back for some more rides on Arthur during hotel entry hour.

It was a little rainy this morning and think the park was even quieter than yesterday. Started with more rides on Wodan and Blue Fire.

I don’t think I’ve mentioned the operations yet but they have a reputation as being the fastest and they truly are incredible. Even with no queues, they were pumping coaster trains out faster than I’ve ever seen. Really amazing turnaround times, I think all other theme parks should send their staff here to see how it can be done!

We took the train round the park which was cute (if a little cold).

We ate lunch at the Italian counter service. I had the biggest bowl of spaghetti bolognese ever and Neil had veggie lasagne.

I had one final ride on the `haunted mansion, I loved this, it’s certainly a fair bit darker than Disney’s version, then we went took the monorail back to the hotel to pick up the bus to Ringsheim.

If we’d planned this better I would have headed to cologne tonight, or at least done the first part of the journey but originally we were going to stay at Europa tonight. So we were back in Ringsheim at the Holiday inn again. We had a couple of drinks in the bar before calling it a night.
