Hi, we go in a few weeks - can someone just reassure me of the process for the throw-away?
I have a campground booking for the day after we arrive.
On the day we fly in, we will go to our villa and sort out shopping/eating etc.
I have done the online check in and customised magic bands etc, so can we drive through the entry booths at 7am and collect our magic bands the next morning on our way to AK?
Or do we have to wait until later in the day?

We have a throwaway booking at the campsite on 4th August, we plan to get there around 6.30am collect our bands and then get the boat to magic kingdom (if they are running that early) if not we will drive there but either way I’ll post an update if there is anything you need to do that is not obvious!

Following this as I usually do one night in a value hotel for the perks but might do this instead.

I’m looking at doing this as well!

I’ve read that they don’t like customers doing this, buying the tent space and then not using it, apparently you can get charged, how true is this? ☹️

We have already brought out tickets and doing the night for the EMH, magic bands and free parking, will we still get 60 day fast pass?

Charged for what exactly?! The only thing they can charge you for is your stay, which you have paid.

Maybe if enough people do this Disney may start to offer a package eg magic bands, 60 day FP and parking for a set fee. I would happily pay for a package like that if priced correctly.

I was just reading an article when researching saying the cast members dislike it and something about misuse of facility and can charge since someone else could have had it.

I thought the same, if you’ve paid them what’s the problem if you use it or not...?
