DCL cruise to nowhere this summer!

I wanted the first week in July as dd's 21st on the 8th, but see that's Newcastle, which is a 5 hour drive each way for us which isn't really practical for a 2 or 3 night trip! Not sure now what to do! Surprised they are doing 2 nights to be honest, as that's really only a day and a half as you get off so early in the morning! 🤔

The cruises usually leaving mid afternoon with boarding starting around midday. On the last day you usually leave the ship around 7-9am. It does not surprise me that the sailings are back to back, I also would not be concerned about the deep cleaning time because deep cleaning is nothing new to Disney Cruise line they deep clean in between every cruise even before covid. They constantly clean whilst on the cruises too.

Thanks. Also what do you think will happen with the pools, will folk need to book a time slot? Same with the shows and restaurants?
