Have a brilliant time! I found my dress in the first and only shop we went too. I was told to expect to buy the opposite to what i though I would want. Wrong. I bought exactly what I thought!

Enjoy the experience it’s such an emotional time seeing your daughter in the dress for the first time that she’ll get married in.
I only have one daughter and she’s been married 15 years this month but I can still remember all the excitement in the run up to the wedding and the fabulous day it was.

How exciting! I'm like Scaramouche I found my dress in the first shop I went into- it was the first one I tried on. My wedding anniversary was this past Thursday- 15 years 😊. We were up at the Celtic Manor yesterday and my daughter said she'd quite like to get married there- told her Dad he would need to get saving😂. Enjoy Tinks!

Hope you have a wonderful day together.
I remember it was just me and my mum went to look for my dress (been married 27 years now). I had a picture in my mind of what I wanted, went to the first shop, saw something completely different and fell in love with it! It need altering slightly so when I went back for the fitting we took my aunt with us (Dad’s sister). We are close and she never had children of her own. I can remember those days like it was yesterday.

How exciting! I’m another that bought my dress in the first shop I went in. It was complete fluke actually, I had an appointment (for the same shop) about 6 weeks later than the day I actually went in. They had a sale on so thought it would be rude not to look… I was on my own not thinking I’d find the one!
I did find the one! But she wasn’t in the sale 🙈😂. I then went back 6 weeks later for the appointment I’d originally booked and tried her on again for my mum and bridesmaid to see. I’d not long given birth when I was shopping for wedding dresses, so on reflection it was actually nice to go on my own, I didn’t feel overwhelmed with opinions. So it’s great that your daughter just has a small audience for her first time dress shopping 🥰 |

I am not the shape for big dresses and wanted a nice silk shift dress in ivory , bearing in mind I was taking the dress to Las Vegas!
I went into a shop where they were closing the wedding section, found two exactly what I wanted and bought both they were advertised as £100 each and when I went to pay she said they are £10 each today ... Wishing you and your daughter luck in finding the right one at a good price |
