Disney Genie is just... rubbish

Now. I may be entirely wrong in my title, but ive been trying and trying to do the whole plan your day nonsense that Disney seems to require you to do, and i keep getting told i dont have any park admission, which i assuredly do.

Do you need to wait until the day (and i dont even mean to pick the new version of a fastpass, but the other features?)

Either way, it is a counter intuitive, clunky piece of rubbish. I can see why people are starting to give up on Disney and go elsewhere.

If you have a disney ultimate ticket, it doesn't currently work, and won't until November.

Once it does you should be able to use the general genie functionality, but u believe you need to wait until the day of to buy genie+

As above, it seems to only recognise UK tickets if you have an on-site stay at the moment. That will change. There’s also nothing you can do except note your preferences just now until you’re there. So it’s not rubbish, you just can’t use it yet.

I’ve been able to enter my attraction preferences for all my park days. The app now says waiting until my first day before I will start to see things appear on the tip board. Looks pretty good. Although I consider myself a master Disney planner, so will be interesting to go up against an algorithm with all of Disney’s data behind it!

I think the potential is there, especially if it tracks and learns as things go on.

The app has been functional for 2 days, its not the type of thing you can Beta test and slowly phase in

I have been following along with those using Genie+ on the Touring Plans chat site and it seems that it will save you time in the queues and you are able to "stack" your LL choices.
It's just a matter of utilising it to suit your requirements.

Re your comment about stacking LL, what do you mean? I thought you could only book one at a time?
