Thanks so much. That was a fantastic trip report. Don't know why I missed it in August, but glad I could binge read, then watch the video. Have been some of these places, and thinking about some of them again for a big trip next Aug or Sept, so was interested to read about the weather. I would agree about LA and wouldn't feel the need to rush back there, but we liked Anaheim (obviously), Long Beach and had a lovely stay in Malibu in a beach house a few years ago. We are thinking about doing some of the trip by train.

What a fantastic trip report. Have just binge read it this morning. We are hoping to do s similar trip in May 2020 but can’t get going as so much to do and see and not sure where to start. Hopefully we will go for 3 weeks and although we will want a car for part of the time I feel it may be too much driving for us. We want to do all the things you done but maybe not Disney and would definitely like to go to San Diego. The video captured it all beautifully. Thank you 😀

Thank you!

August was definitely incredibly hot in Vegas / Palm Springs. The girls said they'd like to go back to Vegas when it wasnt so hot! Maybe next time we might do an Easter trip...

It was a lot of driving so if you could incorporate the train that would be good. I'd like to go north from SF on the train sometime...

Thanks! Its really hard to get started when planning a trip like this isnt it?! The two bits that were set for us were where we could get flights to / from using our air miles and also booking the Yosemite accommodation... The rest of the trip then had to fit around that! But there's no reason that you couldnt fly between cities...

I discounted San Diago when I was first planning and the couldn't fit it in with everything else!

The video could possibly do with some editting but Im not brave enough to suggest that to my daughter after all her hard work putting it together!
