Mobile Le Cellier cheese soup

I’ve just made the Le Cellier cheese soup following this recipe
thecozycook/disneys-le-cellier-cheese-soup/
And it was bloody delicious!
The kitchen looks like a bomb has hit it, but it was so worth it.
It made enough for a batch to go in the freezer, hopefully it will defrost ok 😀

Too good not to share!
The recipe allows you to change the measurements to metric from American as well.
I cooked the bacon in the oven and crumbled it up in a food processor, I also chucked the onions and celery in the food processor rather than chopping into tiny pieces.
You’ll love it!

I dread to think how many calories are in this! Might need an extra gym session

I know! I was quite surprised, good job really as otherwise I’d have eaten the whole lot

I have been eyeing up the Le Cellier cheese soup, but not made it there yet. So I decided to try at home and today is the day. I didn’t see your recipe beforehand so I am doing this one.

I am doing the base and blending it this pm, I will reheat and add cheese when we ready to eat this evening. Have asked DH to pick up some pretzels on the way home to go with.

Ooooh, let me know how it turns out! Yours has carrots and peppers in it but not bacon, might try it again with the carrots and peppers added, it’s not something I can have too often though, we’d all be the size of a house!

Just finished dinner and we are both feeling podged! The pretzels DH bought worked really well with it, I found some shop bought croutons in the fridge that I should have gone without, we both picked them out. But it was yummy.

I used carrots by the way, but I didn’t use any pepper.
