I used to have just red and gold, till the 1999 christmas when my friend bought me a purple bauble with the word millenium on it in silver glitter. She buys a new ornament every year and gave me that one to mark a new year and new start for me as i had had a difficult 1999. I kept this up and now love my tree with all its different ornaments which all remind me of certain things... which is odd for me as I am very much a symmetry/matching person usually... but i have a few mickey ear ones from past trips, a simba for the year my son played him in the school production of lion king, a pair of little mittens for when I used to childmind my friends grand daughter, a fleur de leys emblem which was very similar to the pattern on my husbands waistcoat when we got married and many others... including a tree on top of a car... which i bought a few years ago as we had gone over to a fake tree finally, so no more trips to the garden centre and coming home with the tree sticking out the sun roof. I dont do llamas, flamingos or anything trendy (ever! Not just at Christmas!) Never thought my little car one fell into that category! Unless you mean anything except a proper bauble is banned. My little tree i have in the dining room is still in the red and gold only bauble camp! I love looking at everyones trees and how they all differ 🥰🎅😘

Quality street.

We chuck a tin on using the plastic bauble hooks.

(Although the tree might be a bit disappointing this year now they have changed to those horrible sealed packets rather than foil and film which the lights used to shine through and glow)

Gold tinsel and multicoloured lights.

We do a couple of trees.

Living Room - Jewel Colours
Open Plan Kitchen/Lounge - Pinks and Silver
Kids Sitting Room - New colour's this year, think candy cane, greens with some traditional style decs too.

I just do low level decs so nothing on ceiling.

My small collection of snowmen (metal, wood, glass etc) sit on the living room bookshelves.

My reindeer collection is my pride & joy. They spend Christmas in the bay window and I love to see them glitter from nearby fairy lights.

I would love to see your reindeers x

Red and Gold for the main tree this year and silver/white for the bedroom tree.

I love the blush pink and pastel colours but couldn’t find enough of what I liked to get a tree full for the bedroom

In our open plan living area we have red, green & white mainly but there are some other colours on the tree because they are all Disney ornaments.
At the front of our house, playroom etc we have white trees with pale pastel colours on them. And I am wanting all white outside decorations.

We also go with the general "elf vomit" colour scheme...

Years ago I did themes, teal, blues and silver one year. Then I did little green bows and traditional, now we bung everything on. Lots of Disney, Harrods, things we have picked up from Florida like a alligator. Ds got us a kangaroo from Australia, we have polar bears and tinker bell on the top. We just add a couple every year!
