I had never heard of this and looked it up. It looks really lovely, it's odd that the London based Dibbers have never mentioned it. If I lived nearby I'd be there in a shot.
I hope you have a lovely time ... : - ) |

I was at the Country Living Fair in Glasgow a few days ago (not sure if it’s the same idea) but my tip is if you see something you really like just buy it. I dithered on a couple of things and thought I would decide about them and go back later. Well I forgot about one of the things until I got home and I couldn’t find the stall again for the other thing. I am really annoyed about it.

I have looked it at it but never been, my son went once but didn’t say a lot. I would like to know about it OP when you come back, might book if it’s magical

I was just about to start a thread on this as I have just got in from going tonight. Despite living 20 mins away I’ve never been!
We left it quite late in booking so only had November dates left, was nice though as I’m now feeling very festive. Do you have parking booked? The Kew Road was completely insane with no on road parking left. I was quite lucky as a friend lives down the road opposite the Victoria Gate so parked on her drive. When we first arrived the queue to get in was crazy but once you get through the initial part and onto the trail the crowds do thin out a lot. Lots of different photo opportunities where it gets crowded but didn’t have to wait too long. My favourite was the different lights to music on the Temperate House. It was a really enjoyable evening, I’m glad I can finally say I’ve been! Oh and you have to get some churros at the end, so good! Edited at 10:16 AM. |

I went last with the in laws and loved it. Really recommend the marshmallows toasted on the fire pits. Delicious!

Had such a wonderful festive evening. Better than I imagined- so well done. I wouldn’t go if it was raining though. We got very lucky with weather!
