We love it upstairs in the bubble. Quiet and relatively small, would be great for a large group of you. You also usually get off before economy downstairs which can make quite a difference in the immigration queue.

We booked 4 in front of the galley - know you are a bigger group than 4 though. Was perfect no one sitting behind us and there was space to recline the seats, it was not bang up against the galley.

OP I would be looking for 3 rows of 3. All nicely together, 3 aisle seats and 3 window seats. Win win situation.

Another who’d go for three rows of three.
Going out we’d also try to book as near to row 25 on the left as we could, as the VA 747 disembarks on the left at row 25. Once upper, PE and the people in the bubble are off you will then be able to disembark. Quicker off quicker to immigration. The right hand side is fine, but the toilets are near row 25 on the right so near row 25 on the right can be busier with people up and down. Prefer the left. |
