Exactly. I do wonder why people get so touchy about this subject...If you're happy with your choice then what does it matter what other people say?

Besides I too would rather share space with just my own sweaty family than sweaty strangers crammed in like sardines. We've used wdw transport a few times but, personally, never again! But then I don't use public transport at home either!

Thank you all those that have put my mind at ease a bit. It has played on my mind since the first time I read a thread like this.

We are possibly looking at getting a car for 2 days to get to malls etc but it is working out too expensive for whole 2 weeks. Disney transport was one of the main reasons for choosing to stay onsite.

Been 5 times, never had a car. Not drivers, so don't know what we're missing.

Happy using service buses or trolley. Had a few times with a long wait, but it doesn't put us off.

People get touchy because people make comments such as "unwashed" because of their chosen choice of transport.

Is this a bad idea? Do you think it'll make a huge difference?

I think you will regret not having a car big time.

never been without car, costs @£15/day so a no brainer for the convenience alone...

im not the most patient person and waiting about for buses does my head in at home so i certainly dont want this on holiday as well..

imo of course...

If you are staying at Disney, you wont need one. If off site, waiting for buses in car parks etc. can be a bit hit and miss.
