Table Service Bookings - Advice
Hi there
We came back in April after getting married in Disney and have booked a honeymoon for August as we were spoilt with money from our family and friends! We are so lucky! We are spending a week in Disney (Pop Century) with a table service plan, then a 4 night Disney Cruise and finishing it with a 3 night Cabana Bay stay. We can't wait and have spent ages deciding where to eat etc, but we can't decide if we are doing the right thing with using the credits. We would either have to pay for a couple of breakfasts or use some snacks. Is Boathouse worth 2 credits? Would you swap some for others? Our reservation for California Grill is 5.55pm, can we stay up there to watch fireworks? If you have any advice, we would be v grateful. Night 1 QS Art of Animation Night 2 QS Be Our Guest and QS Dinner Disney Springs Night 3 QS/Snack Credits Pop Century and QS Satu'li Canteen Night 4 QS Epcot/Snack Credits and Ohanas Night 5 QS Hollywood Studios and Dinner at Boathouse Night 6 QS Satu'li Canteen and dinner at Hoop-Dee-Doo. Night 7 QS Epcot and dinner at California Grill. Thank you Edited at 11:43 AM. Reason: Update details |

Congratualtions to you both.
Your plan looks fine. The only one I wouldn't pick is Hoop de doo, as I'd rather have 2 sit down meals at other 1TS places like Kona, Grand Floridian Cafe, Yak & Yeti, Chefs de France, Coral Reef or do Narcoossees or Flying Fish or Hollywood Brown Derby for 2TS |

Look at the menu at Boathouse. Depending what you fancy, it's not worth 2 credits - lots of lower priced items. I'd consider it a signature in name only, everything I was interested in was only around the $20 mark. One option could be to pay for this OOP and have two nice sit down breakfasts somewhere - Kona Cafe would be one of my picks, and then a character breakfast if interested. That may even free up QS lunch credits if you're still full!
For CG, you can either stay up there or wander off for a bit and return at show time with your receipt. All dinner guests (and brunch guests on Sundays) are allowed back in for the fireworks. BTW, if you're happy eating pastries, snack credits at breakfast should be more than enough. Even bowls of cereal count as snacks, it's only once you go into full plates that it's more.
