We will rent a Tahoe or similar so no hiding the cases in the boot. Not very secure but can't think of what else to do with them until our flight

If you are flying with Virgin you could do the checkin at Disney Springs in the morning and have a few hours there.

Last year we checked out of HRH early on and then did the Disney Springs check in - we then decided to check out a couple of the Disney hotels to see what they were like and they looked that good that we ended up going to the Yacht club this year for a week on the back of our last day visit. It's HRH next year with no car so we will probably stay around HRH and so some shopping around City walk and then get a cab to the airport and not bother with the Disney Springs but.

Same as last time, 7.55pm flight with BA. Leave the Villa early, go to Disney Springs, wander the boardwalk & an ADR at Beaches & Cream for an early lunch

We haven't done it as we always leave the cases with bell services but id feel happy leaving them in the car at one of the park car parks. Especially one of the Disney waterparks where you're parked virtually right outside the gates.

Our car had black tinted window and our cases are black - If you have light coloured case and leave them in the boot perhaps put a black sheet over them?
I prefer to leave them in a main Disney car park - once the cars are parked, there isn't much movement around there - you'd be unlucky to get broken into.

The car parks at the water parks are smaller and more accessible - there also seems to be more coming and going. In my view, easier for a thief to 'hang around' without being noticed.

I’d warn against the cinema. We did this one year. Took the cases to the Virgin check in, shopped and ate at Disney Springs (when it was Downtown Disney) then saw a film. The kids were only 6 and 9 and had hammered the parks and pools and slept though the whole film. That made the flight home really hard as they weren’t tired enough.

Our flight home next May is at 10.10 pm. We have booked an extra night at Disney. It'll give us 2 extra meals and snacks each and means our last day can be like normal. Pack day before. Get up head to park for rope drop. Do a few hours then back for a swim. Have a shower and a meal then head to the airport all clean and fresh. In previous years if we had a late flight we felt like the last day was wasted as we didn't want to get all sweaty. One year we did Typhoon lagoon and showered there which was good. Another year in a villa we booked an extra night so we could stay in the villa till we left which was great. Since then our flights have been much earlier.
