Heffler claims group email?

So has anyone else got one of these? Or am I just the (un)lucky one?

A group class action against budget and avis rental cars in Florida if it is to be believed. Which I don't, but if my email has been bought/stolen from budget, I assume others on here would have one too?

I've just received one through the post...it says I will be automatically included in the action unless I send back the waiver... not putting my details to anything at this time

I spotted this on another Forum. I think I am right in saying that Avis was in breach of Florida law by 'self funding' their own Insurances that were then sold to renters?
Nothing to be lost by not communicating with the Attorneys as it is a no win no fee case.
However I wouldn't be sending my personal details!

Yes another one to me. Rented via Budget in 2007 so they must have Avis/Budget Customer records

Looks like they already have our names and addresses presumably from Avis' files.
You need do nothing. If the claimant wins we may get a small pay out (Rather like PPI).

So I'm not alone! Haven't had a letter, just the email which I deleted. I've rented a couple of times with budget in the last 3 or 4 years, but can't remember when. Might have to have a check.

Just got a letter today also. I think we used them in 2012. Not sure what to do here either. I will probably let it sit for a while.
