Refurb laptop?

Thinking of getting a new laptop but don't want to spend loads so thinking of going the refurb route. Anyone done this and have any companies they could recommend?

I prefer Apple laptops and wouldn't think twice about buying a refurb. In fact, if you can get what you want, to me it is the only way to buy.

I have a refurbished Lenovo thinkpad - I bought from eBay, just have to take care to choose a seller who does refurbs as a thing!

Not bought a laptop, but both kids have refurbed gaming PCs - significantly cheaper than buying new. We used a locally based online company - you could configure the machines as you wanted. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy refurbished.
