I can say that, historically, blockout dates for the following year have been announced closer to the end of the year. Also, due to the current conditions, and the phased reopening of our resort, itís possible that blockout dates for 2021 may be significantly different from the 2020 blockout dates, as we adjust to the expected crowds throughout the year.
I had just asked this question on another thread. Dont know what to do now as was hoping to buy 1 Premier pass and 4 seasonal passes but we go 19/08/21-06/08/21 and really dont want to risk being blocked out of volcano bay. Anyone know if i buy seasonal passes but am then affected by the block out dates whether id be able to upgrade them and keep the 3 months free?

I know how you feel. I donít think we are going to book for the summer will probably stick with October, but end of August is a possibility for us, and Iím itching to get back!

Pulled the trigger and bought 5 preferred passes today. Wouldn't work on the website for some reason, kept giving an error about change delivery method (even though there is one delivery option, pickup at window!).

Had to go through the pain of calling up. They missed off the 3 months extra free initially despite me mentioning it to them at the start so make sure you check if you book by phone as it should state 15 months on the confirmation.

Yes I booked my preferred passes as well today. Had same issue about delivery so went from mobile site to desktop and all OK. Planning on Jan for first use but if not will go as soon as borders open again.

👍 I tried it on a desktop pc using various browsers as I was desperate not to call but couldn't get it to work! Probably should have tried my phone or a tablet.

Just purchased 4 seasonal tickets on the 15 month for price of 12 deal. All went through no problem online although I had logged into my account which I set up a couple of years ago when we last had annual passes.

Just got to hope we can go next year now 🤞🤞

I purchased 3 preferred passes today, as we go over Christmas and maybe a cheeky feb trip I had to avoid the blackout dates.

I also had a problem with errors, it kept saying delivery method not available, however when I went on the app it had saved the shopping basket from the desktop site and I completed the checkout on the app.

Last day to purchase to take advantage of the offer and i just can't make my mind up 😬! Iv had an email back from universal regarding seasonal ticket blackout dates but as above basically says they will be released later in the year and there could be some changes due to the current situation.

After going round in circles on this think I have decided against. We generally go in October and wonít be able to afford an extra trip 15 months would cover 2021 and 2022 trips but by the time we get to 2022 weíll be desperate to get back to Disney if we can, so not sure these are worth it for us. If we had any chance of going this October would have jumped at the offer
