How funny to come on the Dibb and see this thread 😂🤣 I ordered a smart watch yesterday morning and expected delivery next Wednesday or Thursday. I have just got home and had an email to say it is dispatched and will arrive today! I am quite old and am surprised by the speed of that 🤣😂

I always order via SmileAmazon; my nominated local animal charity then gets a decent amount of money each quarter from Amazon.

We have nominated the small charity that researches the rare syndrome our youngest son has.

I love Amazon. I order pretty much everything from them bar food. I needed some filler to fix some cracks in my brickwork. sunday is my only day off. Do I wait for B&Q to open at 10am on sunday or order from amazon to arrive saturday? Easy choice. Finished before B&Q even opened.

And cheaper!

If it helps B & Q are the same company as Screwfix. However the same product in Screwfix is normally a lot cheaper. Weird.

Yesterday I had a last minute idea to buy a cake 18 cupcakes for son’s birthday today instead of a big cake and needed a cheap cake stand . I searched physically in the shops but there was either none or too expensive for one use . Got home , straight on amazon , it was delivered by ten last night can’t fault that service .

Just a question - not criticising Amazon shoppers. If all/most of the physical shops disappear do you think stuff will still be cheaper on Amazon if there is no competition at all? Has Amazon got too big for anyone to set up against them? I fear for a monopoly.

How odd just seen this thread. Only half an hour ago I was talking about amazon, and how totally mental it is for speed and variety. Whilst ordering a knife sharpener and a autumn garland.. They arrive tomorrow... Mental!

Does anyone else use Amazon Prime Now when they can't be bothered to go food shopping? As well as always using Amazon, especially when I was decorating, Amazon Prime now has been great when I've needed a food shop. Usually slots on the same day within a few hours and so convenient

I use AMAZON fresh for some food shopping - same day delivery from shops i would use. I ordered some Holy Basil Tea his morning and it was delivered early afternoon - free delivery too as prime customer (but it is not in all areas of London’s let alone the country )
