Pop Warner moving to Universal!

Haven't seen another thread on this yet.

insidethemagic/2021/01/p...universal-kc1/

Apparently Pop Warner will now be hosted by Universal..what do we think? Will it have a noticeable impact on some of the cheaper hotels at that time of year?

It might if the hotels on the 192 are anything to go by it may also have a knock on effect on restaurants

Just read the article, and just found this to say where they’re staying;
Pop Warner teams and their families will stay at the world-class Universal Orlando Resort. Football teams will stay at the Universal Cabana Bay Beach Resort and cheer teams will stay at Universal Endless Summer Resort - Dockside Inn and Suites.

They were at POR in Dec 2010 when we were. Never heard a peep. We expected shrieking and slamming doors but nothing. They were quiet, polite and respectful, a pleasure to be around.

Is it normally December when this happens? Or is it at various times of the year?
