Can anyone give me an idiots guide to transferring points please x

I've never done it but believe it's a 3 way call to the MS with them, you and the other owner.

You need to have a 3 way call, assuming your are transferring to a third party rather than between 2 memberships that you own. Don’t mention any money passing as this is not permitted and Disney will get cross!

Points can be transferred. They cannot be banked points but the receiver can bank them..

They retain the original use year and keep the 11 month home resort benefit.

1. Points can be transferred out of your account once a use year and you are allowed one transfer in per use year.
2. Transferred points can be banked.
3. Transferred points keep the use year from the original owner.
4. It can be done in about 4 minutes with you and the other member and member services.

Hi, sorry to jump on this thread but wondering if I have any options for transferring points.

I have a BWV with Dec use year and SSR with April use year with 2025 points.

Is it possible to transfer from my 2025 BWV points to use alongside my SSR in 2024 at the 7month point for another resort?

I am planning to travel Apr 25, which would mean borrowing from BWV as not available until Dec.

Anything I need to be thinking about?

You can't normally transfer borrowed points.

Are you saying that you want to use December '25 points for your April trip? Could you book half of the days using your SSR points then half of the days using your BWV points both at 7 months? You would be able to borrow them at the time of booking.

If you're meaning you want to use your December '24 points then they aren't borrowed, they will be in their current use year.

You can note on the bookings that you want continuing reservations, so although they can't combine them they will try to keep you in the same room. It is also worth mentioning at check in that you would like to keep the same room. They tend to be very happy to do this as it saves on housekeeping, and from what I've read the request to stay in the same hasn't been turned down! Just make sure it's the same room type on both bookings.

Are they current or banked SSR points that you're using? You could try to transfer them to the BWV contract rather than the other way around?
